At Borth-Wilson, we believe a great remodel starts with great partnership. From your first consultation to the final walkthrough, our experienced in-house team of designers, plumbers, and remodeling professions manages every detail. We don’t use subcontractors, with an exception for our long-time electrical partner, and value excellent partnership with our customers and our vendors. We take the time to understand your goals, guide you through selections, and ensure your new space is both beautiful and built to last.
At Borth-Wilson there is no remodeling project too big or too small. We understand that budgets, goals, and lifestyles vary. Whether you’re looking for a full bathroom remodel, a tub-to-shower conversion or anything in between, we’re happy to provide a no-obligation estimate.

No Subcontractors AND No Dumpsters
One more thing that separates Borth-Wilson apart from the rest? No unsightly dumpsters outside your home during construction. We want you and your family to be as comfortable as possible during the remodeling process and that means we remove debris without a dumpster. We also take the time at the end of each day to tidy up the workspace.

Pre-Project Planning
1. Initial Assessment and Estimate:
We come to your home to assess your space and discuss what you want and need in the remodel. We take all these things into consideration and provide a no-obligation written proposal within a week for your review.
2. Initial Construction Meeting:
Meet with the project manager at our Selection Center to go over your estimate, complete with line-by-line descriptions and a preliminary project timeline.
3. Accepting the Proposal
Sign the estimate, submit a down payment. The estimate is subject to change based on construction materials. Fill out the curation questionnaire.
4. Selection Center Meeting
This is the fun part! It’s time to pick out products, colors, and other materials.
5. Revised Estimate based on final chosen materials is provided.
6. In-Home Measurements
Our operations manager or project manager will come to your home to do a walk-through to make sure the materials and products you’ve chosen will fit in the new space.
The Project
1. Materials are ordered; materials arrive and are inspected.
2. Checklist and Rough Timeline
Borth-Wilson contacts you to finalize a start date. Any additional details or questions you have can be discussed at this time. We’ll provide you with a pre-project checklist, which includes quick tips to keep surrounding areas as clean as possible while the crew is working, and rough timeline of the project. Additionally, we'll provide a questionnaire to help the technicians prepare for the project. This will include daytime contact information, your instructions for home entry, parking preferences for our crew, instructions for working around your pets, material storage location preferences, and more.
3. Demolition and remodeling
On the first day of the project, the technicians arrive on-site. Our technicians proceed with the project on consecutive business days or as scheduled with you. Our project manager and/or designer are on-site regularly to ensure the progress of the project. They are also available by cell phone to answer any questions.
Completion
1. The walk-through
We will view the finished project and verify that any loose ends are tied up. We will include a cleaning and care guide to review all products and their warranties that are outside our two year labor warranty. The final invoice is presented and final balance is collected at this time.
2. Referral Bonus! Ask us about our bonus for online reviews and referrals.
3. Project Warranty
Our remodeling projects are warranted for two years, this includes drain cleanings. We encourage the homeowner to call us with any questions or concerns.
