Warm Transitional Primary Bathroom
This warm transitional primary bathroom blends classic architectural character with modern, spa-inspired finishes. As our third project with this wonderful family, we built on a trusted relationship to elevate both function and aesthetics, creating a space that feels timeless, refined, and uniquely theirs.
The original layout featured a large built-in tub deck with an apron and steps that crowded the room. By removing the tub deck and an adjacent linen closet, we opened the space, improved flow, and expanded the shower footprint for a more balanced design.
A sculptural freestanding tub from Kohler now serves as a focal point beneath the arched window. The updated vanity includes Kohler undermount sinks paired with a Delta Faucet Company faucet and shower system in Champagne Bronze, adding warmth and contrast. Shower tile from Lexco Tile & Stone and floor tile from 21st Century Tile introduce texture and natural tones, while expanded Showplace Cabinetry cabinetry enhances storage and everyday functionality.
The result is a light-filled, thoughtfully layered retreat that honors the home’s character while delivering contemporary comfort.
