A Spa-Like Master Bathroom in Hartland
Upgrading and Updating to Create a Rejuvenating New Space
This Bathroom Upgrade Is One for the Pinterest Boards
A master bathroom should feel relaxing and rejuvenating, but this one needed help from our expert remodelers. The homeowners were ready to modernize their bathroom by replacing the dated white tile and gold-trimmed shower stall with more contemporary pieces. This stunning revamp only took 25 days to complete and the homeowners are as thrilled with the outcome as we are.
What started as a simple conversation with our designer soon became a design to create a more inviting ambiance with a natural color scheme. We installed a large 7’ x 4’ shower with a rain showerhead and pebble flooring that evokes feelings of relaxing at the spa. We also introduced larger windows to bring in more natural light and provide a sweeping view of the private backyard while soaking in the new bathtub. Below is a day-by-day breakdown of how we accomplished this gorgeous bathroom remodel.
A Glance at the Process
Day 1 – Day 3
The first step was to demo the existing bathroom down to its bare walls. Professional carpenters resized the window opening and the window was expertly installed shortly thereafter. The electrical and plumbing updates began and moved along seamlessly.
Day 4 – Day 16
Day 17 – Day 19
We finished the drywall and started working on tiling around the tub and shower to ensure adequate drying and setting time. We laid down the tile floor and installed the cabinets and counter tops to frame out the space.
Day 20 – Day 22
The flooring and shower stall were grouted and our pros finalized the plumbing and electrical connections. We cleaned up our tools and swept away any last traces of debris to leave the homeowners with a stunning new master bathroom.
