Hartland Bathroom Remodel

From Kid-Friendly to Grown-up and Polished

A Bathroom Renovation So Good It Was Barely Recognizable

This Hartland family contracted Borth-Wilson Plumbing & Bathroom Remodeling to change up their outdated kids’ bathroom. The owners’ children had grown up so it was time for their second bathroom to do the same. Other than the basic layout, the couple upgraded just about everything, including the interior design and fixtures for a more functional, aesthetically pleasing bathroom.

With a design in mind and materials at hand, our team got to work transforming this kid-friendly bathroom into a grown-up and polished space. The entire demo and remodel was completed in just eight business days and the homeowners were ecstatic with the outcome. Keep reading for a day-by-day breakdown on how we did it.

A Glance at the Process

Day 1 – Day 3

The first step in the process was to take the existing bathroom down to its bare walls. We quickly completed the demo and rough-in work, installed the choreographed wall panels, and placed the finished tub, shower, and faucet so the space could be used by the homeowners.

Day 4 – Day 6

Our team started installing the new flooring, vanity, and vanity top. We installed items in this order to maximize fluidity and minimize potential damage of other materials during the project. By day six, we finished the vanity top, plumbing, flooring and transition strip, and drywall—the bathroom started to look whole again.

Day 7 – Day 8

The last two days were spent finalizing the project—including electrical connections, toilet installation, mirror and custom frame installation, and all accessory installations. We removed every last particle of dust and tightened every last water connection to guarantee the bathroom looked stunning and was ready to use.
